Salary Range: Base salary + performance-based commission (negotiable based on experience)

Position Overview:

The Sales Engineer will work with our engineering design team to identify customer needs and develop new business opportunities. As a Sales Engineer, your role will involve assessing customers' engineering needs, preparing quotations, and collaborating with our engineering team to ensure their requirements are fulfilled. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small company setting and willingly take on diverse responsibilities, including communicating with customers, conducting market research, providing technical support and training.

Job Description:

  • Establish and maintain close      relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers in your assigned      business territories.

  • Conduct market research to      develop business territories.

  • Explain the technical aspects of      products and individual solutions as well as benefits and services for      customers using technical presentations.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of      work time(primarily domestically).

  • Attend trade fair at least once a      year in US, Germany, India, or China. Participate in international      exhibitions and/or conferences (valid passport and visa required).

  • Travel to the design team to take      part in training sessions and stay informed about new product      developments.

  • Seek and organize sales projects,      including preparation of quotations, negotiations, and closing.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering,      or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of industry      experience (experience with wire, cable, tube, hose, plastics, and/or      production line equipment is a major asset)

  • At least 3 years of experience      developing new business and creating alliances

  • Good MS Office and MS Powerpoint      skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently.

  • Customer-oriented and excellent      at communication.

  • Proficient in English or Chinese      (spoken and written).
