    The marking system mainly consists of a meter wheel, diameter gauge, marking machine, computer software, and printer. The system works as follows:

the diameter gauge detects any deviations in the cable, while the meter wheel provides the positional signal. The marking machine's control unit then triggers the application of two labels at the appropriate time, positioning them on either side of the defect. Simultaneously, the system triggers an alarm and sends a signal to the take-up system of the production line, causing the reel to stop. The operator confirms the defect and takes necessary actions, enabling automated monitoring of cable defects and preventing defective products from being overlooked and shipped.

    The data acquisition system monitors changes in cable diameter and defect locations, generating production reports. After the operator's confirmation, a process card can be printed using the printer, improving work efficiency and optimizing the production process.
